Each bit of wood has its own history and journey - from demolition site to workshop - to your home or business. 

 

Our complete range of Sleeping Dining and Living furniture is made solely from reclaimed Pine and our Outside range of furniture is made from Green Oak. The vintage wood used in our reclaimed range is as individual as we are, with its natural imperfections and its own beautiful grain. Each piece is patiently de-nailed, prepared and sanded in our Workshops before being handcrafted into furniture by our talented team of craftsmen. 

 

With the wood having organically seasoned over the years, it can transform the look and feel of a room when used and appears grounded and authentic - often showing a deep rich tone which when you sand and wax it brings out the colour beautifully. 

 

Reclaiming wood is part of a universal growing trend in the use of recycled material and as a growing population demands more wood products, pressure on natural forests is accelerating. Therefore by reclaiming the wood we use, we are helping meet some of the heightened demand while also reducing the need to cut more virgin wood, ultimately helping to protect and restore forests and reduce landfill waste. 

 

Many years ago only mature trees were used in buildings across the world but now the wood from those same trees is waiting to start a new journey and life, tying in with the current drive towards sustainable living and giving an aesthetic look that is less about perfect and more about provenance.
